AI Transparency & Human Craft Statement

At Crystal Cleanse, we believe that when artificial intelligence makes content generation cheap and instant, human taste and discernment matter more than ever.
We use AI as a creative, research, and technical support tool. It does not direct our vision, shape our values, or make decisions for us. Every routine we share and every piece of guidance on this site is steered, filtered, and refined by a person.
1. Steered by Human Taste & Experience
AI can generate endless text and visuals, but it lacks intuition, heart, and taste. We use AI as a digital assistant to:
- explore ideas, outline research, and organize thoughts;
- draft, refine, and translate written content; and
- support software development, digital features, and media design.
How much it contributes varies from one piece to the next. On many of our guide articles it produces a first draft from our research, our sources, and our direction — and that draft is where our work starts, not where it ends.
No AI output goes untouched. We treat machine generation as raw material. Everything published on Crystal Cleanse is curated, edited, and approved against our own standards and judgment.
2. Discernment & Human Responsibility
Generative AI tools can produce generic, inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated statements. Because of this, we treat AI output as an aid, never as an authoritative source or decision-maker.
A real person personally reviews and evaluates substantive AI-assisted material before publication — verifying facts, ensuring claims stay grounded and authentic, protecting privacy, and respecting copyright or third-party rights.
Whatever tools were involved in making it, the result is ours. If something here is wrong, that is our mistake rather than a tool’s, and we would rather hear about it.
3. What We Disclose (and What We Don’t)
Our guide articles carry a standing note. At the end of each one, a short line records that AI was used in preparing the article, and says separately whether AI was also used to create or edit its images. An article written without AI carries no note. A standalone AI-assisted image carries its own line in its caption.
Beyond those notes, we do not label every minor background use of AI, such as brainstorming, proofreading, translation support, coding assistance, or standard media adjustments.
We disclose wherever content has been materially generated or altered by AI and its artificial origin is neither obvious nor already stated, and wherever disclosure is required by law or platform policy. A disclosure may appear as a caption, a label, or an accompanying note.
4. Privacy & Data Protection
Our Privacy Policy governs how Crystal Cleanse handles personal data. We apply the same data-minimization principles when using AI tools:
- No training on your data: We do not submit contact-form messages, subscriber lists, sensitive personal information, visitor cookies, or information about a person’s crystal selections, intentions, or session activity to general-purpose AI tools. We do not use Crystal Cleanse visitor information to train AI models.
- Private workflows: When selecting and configuring AI tools, we seek to minimize retention and prevent business prompts and outputs from being used to train a provider’s general models where appropriate controls are available.
- Future features: If a future AI feature interacts directly with users or requires personal data to operate, we will review the relevant privacy and security arrangements and update our disclosures before launch.
5. Changes & Contact
We may update this statement when our use of AI changes materially. The date at the top shows the current version. Our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and Terms of Service provide additional information about Crystal Cleanse.
